He monitors a total of 11 hectares, divided into two plots, and wanted to avoid unnecessary sprinkling - a hefty cost in fuel, labor and water. "I no longer have to doubt whether I'm too early or too late. The sensor shows what is really happening in the soil." The insights give him the confidence to delay irrigation when conditions allow - saving time, water and energy without affecting the crop.

Two unnecessary sprinklers over 11 acres paid for the hardware within five months, allowing the grower to save additional costs by further rolling out the system.
