Your responsibilities

Sales Representative (Italy)
Do you have a strong business aptitude and knowledge of the agricultural sector? Does it stimulate you to work on the ground, talk to farmers and technicians every day, do demos in the field?
Your responsibilities
- To develop and expand Agurotech's presence in the Italian agricultural market, particularly in Emilia-Romagna.
- Direct sales to farmers and support for distributor partners.
- Identification of new business opportunities and development of sales channels.
- Building strong relationships with cooperatives, agronomists, technicians and local stakeholders.
- Implementation of field demonstrations, technical events and participation in agricultural fairs.
- Represent Agurotech as a local point of reference for customers and partners.
Sales Specialist
As a Salesperson at Agurotech, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in the growth of our company. You will focus entirely on finding and connecting new customers, bringing our innovative solutions to the attention of farmers, distributors and other players in the agricultural sector. With your hunting mentality, you will ensure that our products gain ground in the Netherlands and abroad.
Your responsibilities
- Actively calling (hot and cold) leads and converting leads to prospects.
- Visiting prospects to convert to customers.
- Identify and enter new customer groups and segments.
- Build strong relationships with customers and eco-system partners by understanding their needs and challenges.

- You will enable and scale Agurotech’s day-to-day operations through systems, automation, integrations, and data visibility, and you design, execute, and continuously improve Agurotech’s operational backbone, with a strong hands-on focus on process automation, integrations, data visibility, and scalable operational systems.
- You’ll drive systems and automation across: Supply Chain & Procurement, Production & Testing, Logistics & Customer Delivery, Inventory Management
- You will also make operations faster, more reliable and more predictable by building or implementing automation (scripts, integrations, dashboards, and system workflows) that removes manual work and reduces human errors.
- This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys both rolling up sleeves in operations and building systems like an engineer.

Your responsibilities
- As a Software Engineer (Automation & Integrations), you design, build, and improve the internal systems, integrations, and automation that support Agurotech’s growth. You create scalable software solutions that replace manual processes, reduce errors, improve visibility, and enable teams to work through reliable system-driven workflows.
- Design and implement software solutions that automate manual or fragile workflows, such as order-to-delivery, supplier follow-ups, inventory reconciliation, QA check logging, and delivery status updates.
- Connect internal and external tools using APIs, webhooks, and automation platforms.
- Build reliable KPI reporting and real-time visibility into lead times, stock levels, supplier performance, product performance, and delivery reliability.
Lead Optical Measurement Systems Engineer
We are looking for a Lead Optical Measurement Systems Engineer to own the end-to-end optical measurement architecture for a next-generation in-field soil sensing system. This is a hands-on role (not simulation-only) and a single-owner, high-impact R&D position: you will define the measurement approach, translate it into system requirements, design the optical chain, and drive early prototypes from lab validation toward field readiness. You will be the technical authority for the optical measurement concept and have direct influence on product architecture.
Your responsibilities
- Architecture & System Design: Define the measurement concept and system requirements, translate the measurement concept into system requirements for a battery-powered field device,
- Hands-on Prototyping: Build, align and debug optical setups and prototypes; diagnose noise, background, drift and stability issues. Design for harsh real-world conditions (dust, contamination, vibration, temperature) and field serviceability.
- Validation & Risk Reduction: Create validation plans and test protocols (lab, controlled tests, field), with clear go/no-go criteria.
- Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate closely with embedded engineering on interfaces, control, data acquisition and calibration.
